Is the indoor swimming pool open at the start of the season?
Yes! Starting April 1, the indoor swimming pool—heated to 30°C—and the hot tub—heated to 35°C—will be open. Please note: swim shorts are not allowed for hygiene reasons. In the middle of summer, evening events are held with music and crêpes by the pool!
What kinds of bikes can you rent at the campground near La Palmyre?
Our campground offers rentals of hybrid bikes, mountain bikes, and e-bikes. Starting from the campground’s exit, numerous bike paths lead to Royan, La Palmyre, Talmont-sur-Gironde, and Mornac-sur-Seudre. Mountain bike enthusiasts can also explore the Coubre National Forest.
Is the restaurant open all season?
Our bar-restaurant is open from early July through late August. Starting at 8 a.m., breakfast is served on the terrace with fresh bread and pastries. Prices here are more affordable than in downtown Saint-Palais-sur-Mer or Royan, and beach chair service is available right in the pool area.
What other recreational facilities are available on site?
In addition to the water park, our campground near La Palmyre features a bocce court, ping-pong tables, a pool table, several safe play areas with trampolines and balance courses, as well as a wellness area with a spa and massage services. Charging stations for electric vehicles are also available.
